Hanwei is selected for the 2022-2023 Mavis Future Faculty Fellows Program!

Congratulations to our Ph.D. student, Hanwei Wang, for being selected as one of the 2022-2023 Mavis fellows.

“The Mavis Future Faculty Fellows (MF3) Academy in The Grainger College of Engineering was developed to facilitate the training of the next generation of great engineering faculty. The Grainger College of Engineering is internationally recognized for the impact of our research and the strength of our graduate education. The doctoral programs that produce this reputation are primarily research-focused and may not provide students interested in academic careers with the opportunity to gain the knowledge of how to become a highly productive faculty member.”

Hanwei receives the Yee Fellowship!

Congratulations to our Ph.D. student Hanwei Wang on winning the prestigious Yee Memorial Fund Fellowship from Grainger College of Engineering! This Fellowship has been made possible by a generous bequest of Drs. Warren and Ming Ting Yee. Dr. Warren Yee received his Ph.D. degree in civil engineering from the University of Illinois in 1943. Dr. Warren Yee was a partner in the Detroit firm of Harley, Ellington, Pierce & Yee Associates and later was the founder of Bio-Tech Research Laboratory, Inc. in Washington, D.C.
